No, April 8 isn't the Rapture

Liars love to make Christians panic and buy into false hopes

God’s Creation is beautiful and mysterious, but nothing to freak out over.
  1. “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, which is defined as Jesus saving the church by taking them up to heaven before a time of great persecution, is a false doctrine;

  2. Tribulation isn’t even a bad thing, it’s not God’s wrath or judgment, and we get greatly blessed by being persecuted, because we are counted “worthy to suffer”;

  3. Cowards are not allowed into New Jerusalem, so panicking when some random person tries to convince you that some big prophetic event is about to happen is only proof that you haven’t matured in Christ;

  4. The Great Falling Away will probably revolve around paranoia concerning the Mark of the Beast, WW3, and the Rapture—all of which are no big deal to us, since we’re saved;

  5. Only Americans are so arrogant that they think that all of world history and God’s plans revolve around them, so that when a little eclipse happens in some of their states they assume it’s a fulfillment of biblical prophecy (which they’ve never studied anyway);

  6. The Bible specifically tells us that nobody knows the day or the hour when Jesus will return, which means you can guarantee that it won’t coincide with something random and stupid like a solar eclipse that everyone’s freaking out about;

  7. It’s very obvious that occultists, Satanists, and psychological war experts are trying to generate fear around the eclipse, which is all the more reason to laugh at it and carry on as usual.
