On June 10th I published this:
Why wouldn’t they just reveal the truth and prosecute these criminals? Better yet, why are they talking out of both sides of their mouths? Because, the threat of prosecution for those who defy Trump needs to be 100% real at the same time that the promise of protection for those who join Team Trump also needs to be 100% real.
Thus, we have Schrödinger’s Epstein Files. The dirt must be both obvious and abundant, but also totally nonexistent; the files are ready to be released to the public at any moment, and also there’s nothing to show. Truth bends to the whim of Trump.
Now here we are, with the full denial about Epstein clients and blackmail operations (video via NBC News):
Some are already speculating that the closure of this case by the DOJ was how Trump awarded members of Congress for for passing the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill”, but I don’t think it’s that simple. The game is still very much afoot.
I suspect that what we are actually seeing a perfectly logical extension of my analysis. This completes the “Schrödinger’s Epstein Files” strategy. Remember, I said that the promise of protection needed to be 100% real. But as long as Pam Bondi and the DOJ were talking about thousands of hours of footage, that protection felt very weak even if FBI Director Kash Patel was denying it. Contradictions like that tend to favor the one who claims to have proof, not the one who denies it.
By very clumsily and awkwardly burying the story of Epstein, Trump promises total immunity for those who join his cabal. “There is no blackmail material” is such a blatant lie that it will never satisfy those who want justice; in fact, it will stoke the fire and make people demand it even more.
The Israeli Side
I also have to point out that Netanyahu is weakened by this play. Epstein and Maxwell were not just working for the American CIA, but the Israeli Mossad. One of the reasons why AIPAC and Israel continue to get unlimited funding and support from US representatives is because they fear the release of this evidence.
During negotiations with the Trump administration, Iran claimed to have stolen thousands of files from Israel (on June 7th), only to be suddenly attacked by Israel (on June 13th). Aside from Israel disapproving of the negotiations, what motivated the timing of the attack? Perhaps they feared that this intel leak would jeopardize their many plots against the Iranian regime. And perhaps those files included sensitive documents about many more operations happening around the world.
Did the Trump administration secretly give Iran the files as part of a goodwill offer? Of course it seems doubtful because of the official narratives, but it would have shown that Trump was serious about trying to win trust with a sworn enemy of the USA at the expense of Israel. Would this material have included blackmail against US targets? That’s even more doubtful, but if those people were also enemies of the Trump administration, why not? Trump knows he can’t officially side with Iran against Israel, but through back channels he could try to balance the equation a little bit.
The fact is, Trump did not seriously target Iran in the bomber strikes against the nuclear facilities, and he quickly urged peace and ceasefire in response so that negotiations could hopefully continue despite war breaking out. Iran also did not retaliate in any meaningful way. This shows that Israel is the odd man out, acting like a wild dog. The acknowledgment of sensitive Israeli intel—which may include blackmail—may have triggered their desperation.
Superposition
Trump’s strategy is not clever, but it is powerful because of its uncleverness. By hyping up the destruction of the Deep State and promising transparency, but then sitting on the evidence and threatening to reveal it publicly, he terrifies his opponents into submission. By then openly denying that any evidence exists, he rewards his loyalists while still keeping the option open to change his mind and expose the truth any time he feels like it.
This is how Wikipedia describes the Schrödinger’s cat thought experiment:
In Schrödinger's original formulation, a cat, a flask of poison, and a radioactive source are placed in a sealed box. If an internal radiation monitor such as a Geiger counter detects radioactivity (a single atom decaying), the flask is shattered, releasing the poison, which kills the cat. If no decaying atom triggers the monitor, the cat remains alive. The Copenhagen interpretation implies that the cat is therefore simultaneously alive and dead. Yet, when one looks in the box, one sees the cat either alive or dead, not both alive and dead.
I think this a stupid thought experiment when applied to physics, but it is useful as an analogy for how the justice system in America works. As QAnon reminded us years ago, there are thousands of sealed indictments waiting to be revealed and acted upon by the Department of Justice, but the very nature of a sealed indictment is that it protects the criminal while retaining the option to destroy them.
In this world of satanic deception and power brokers, the promise of “justice” is a loaded gun safely held in its holster; it’s a dangerous threat, but it could also stay in its place and do nothing for as long as its targets cooperate. There’s no advantage in wasting the ammunition and eliminating a potential asset by pulling the trigger.
We have seen Trump’s second administration meet suspiciously little resistance, despite DOGE and the many screw-ups they have managed to make in the first half of the year. Aside from some minor grumblings, the Democrats seem submissive. Elon Musk got burned and is now rampaging against Trump, and Netanyahu is trying to light the fuse on World War III, but the Left is passive even as their voters demand violence and terrorism to stop Trump. The best explanation for why could be that Trump has everyone in power trapped with the Epstein Files, and now he is inviting them to join his side in order to avoid the eventual reckoning—the “Storm”, as QAnon used to call it.
This is a thought experiment on how modern politics might work.
Terry, I feel like you have the right answer. TAW as Jeff Childers says.
Imagine policy being literally driven by blackmail & the fear of exposure. Note that even the possibility of such only exists b/c of what hundreds of federal & state politicians got up to behind closed doors. It's inconceivable in earlier periods in US history b/c the scale would have been much smaller. But given that this is our 'end times' reality, what would be the next step in this blackmail chess match? Perhaps some sort of counter-blackmail threat? What jumps out at me is the normalizing of a de facto brutal mafia-like use of power, all in defense of presumabky pristine party politics. And this just convinces us that anything could happen, that we're in new territory.
