The Psyopticon
Fake Invisible Catastrophes define every area of public policy, not just the environmental hoax
Some background…
The term “panopticon” was coined in 1791 by Jeremy Bentham to describe a circular design for a prison system, so that every prisoner can be fully monitored from one central surveillance station. It has since been used to describe any central monitoring system where everything is visible to one small group.
Psyops are psychological warfare. Military campaigns or events designed to deceive people by orchestrating misleading action, false reports, and emotional manipulation.
Dr. Patrick Moore is the Canadian co-founder of Greenpeace. He cut ties with the organization in 1986 after 15 years of leading its environmentalism projects because it “was turning into a racket peddling junk science”. He has published a book called Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom calling out modern manufactured hysteria which relies on deceit and ignorance.
"It dawned on me one day that most of the scare stories in the media today are based on things that are either invisible, like CO2 and radiation, or very remote, like polar bears and coral reefs. Thus, the average person cannot observe and verify the truth of these claims for themselves. They must rely on activists, the media, politicians, and scientists - all of whom have a huge financial and/or political interest in the subject - to tell them the truth. This is my effort, after 50 years as a scientist and environmental activist, to expose the misinformation and outright lies used to scare us and our children about the future of the Earth. Direct observation is the very basis of science. Without verified observation it is not possible to know the truth. That is the sharp focus of this book."
—Dr. Patrick Moore, ex-Greenpeace leader
Operation Panopticon
Everyone today is worried about censorship. Journalists are banned, content creators are suppressed, and entire web domains are eliminated from circulation as being untrustworthy or dangerous, such as Russia’s news corporation, RT.
There are horrifying levels of censorship going on these days, and one of the best examples is from this report by Foundation For Freedom Online. Here are some of their statistics about the 2020 Election cycle alone:
22 Million tweets labeled “misinformation” on Twitter;
859 Million tweets collected in databases for “misinformation” analysis;
120 analysts monitoring social media “misinformation” in up to 20-hour shifts;
15 tech platforms monitored for “misinformation” often in real-time;
<1 hour average response time between government partners and tech platforms;
Dozens of “misinformation narratives” targeted for platform-wide throttling; and
Hundreds of millions of individual Facebook posts, YouTube videos, TikToks, and tweets impacted, due to “misinformation” Terms of Service policy changes that DHS partners openly plotted and bragged tech companies would never have done without DHS partner insistence and “huge regulatory pressure” from government.
The post-9/11 abomination called the Department of Homeland Security has of course taken over the government’s domestic violation of American rights, but few people realize what this kind of activity really means. We can’t comprehend it. Less than one hour of response time between Big Tech and the military? Between Jack Dorsey and the National Security Council? Platform-wide “throttling” of any narratives they don’t like? How can anyone even humor the idea of “free speech” in such an environment? Nothing about it is free. It is shot, wounded, and crawling on its stomach at best.
This is the beauty of the digital Panopticon, which turns all of us into prisoners whose videos, memes, articles, podcasts, and ideas are not free to roam and repopulate as society deems appropriate, but harshly curtailed by a system of direct, invisible controls. I can remember what it was like before this. It was right around the time that #PizzaGate was blowing up that everything changed.
Catastrophic lies
But this is only half the battle. Removing stuff only prevents certain narratives from emerging or achieving the level of awareness they naturally would have. This is important for demoralization, “chilling effects”, and hurting the ability of the conspiracy’s enemies to make a living. But the even more dangerous program is that of narrative engineering.
Dr. Patrick Moore’s quote about “misinformation and outright lies used to scare us and our children about the future of the Earth” touches on the emotional and cultural impact of psychological warfare. (And that’s what the environmental hysteria is, just to be clear.) They exploit our sympathies, sensitivities, and blind spots in order to generate powerful feelings about things we actually don’t understand. That’s why creating fear requires the kind of tactics Moore exposes; it’s also why experts like him need to be silenced and marginalized, because they can deflate the whole spooky story with rationality and direct observations.
Fake Invisible Catastrophes are the way progress is made these days. Nobody votes on anything based on normal self-interest or principles. There has to be a doomsday crisis to get anyone out of bed. “We’re all gonna die!” is pretty much all that’s left. But there’s a side-effect of so many crises, which is desensitization. I wrote about how that leads to our current predicament—and the promise of actual massacres in the future to sell bullshit—here:
Moore points out how carbon dioxide, coral reefs, polar bears, ice caps, solar activity, radiation, and other invisible or remote phenomena are being hyped up to generate fear and control. We should also add these to the list of Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom:
Bacteria, viruses, bioweapons
Bomb threats, security scares, mass shootings
Lynch mobs, white nationalist terrorists, sleeper cells
Cyber attacks, computer viruses, hackers
Now don’t get me wrong, any of these things can be real, and sometimes are. But they can also be imaginary, hoaxed, or exaggerated as part of a psyop. That’s what makes it so effective. You don’t know which mass shootings are real and which ones employed crisis actors and a corrupt police chief. You don’t know which viruses are real and which ones are imaginary. You don’t know if there are white nationalist militias in your vicinity or if its a bunch of federal agents larping as them with online chat rooms to lure in the mentally challenged. And when the time comes for the “Big One” to hit critical infrastructures of hospitals, police stations, airports, and electrical grids, you won’t know if it’s a legitimate cyber attack or a staged military event.
Life imitates psyop
We are living in the PSYOPTICON. A centralized system of narrative control, generating fake crises and fake solutions at all times, coordinated between the military and every major platform or broadcaster. The tools they designed for central psyop management can scale down to the individual level, or target entire groups and categories at a time. They have real-time response, crisis management, and contingency plans to keep the truth from succeeding. These tools have long been privatized, allowing it to evade official oversight.
They censor those who do not go along with their agenda, and create a new world of Fake Invisible Catastrophes to keep us disoriented, and from now on will ramp up the very real suffering of mankind in order to dupe us into believing their warnings are real and their hoaxes are reality.

Terry Wolfe is an ordinary working-class Christian from Canada, raised Mennonite. He was taught to respect the word of the Bible above the teachings of men, and to always question the ways of the world. He has published four books of groundbreaking analysis on pop culture, interpretation, and uncloaking mysteries.
PSYOPTICON Terry, thanks for sharing. This is exactly what is taking place. Here in the U.K. it’s swallowing everything. So glad for Jesus!
Bless you.
Dave.
