The war for the food supply never ends. As long as farmers are allowed to own invaluable farmland and protect that land with guns, there is only so much a government can do to tyrannize the people. Every conservative knows this, and so does every power-hungry elitist itching for a dictatorship. We all remember the farmers in Europe blocking highways with their farm equipment, spraying manure on government buildings, and protesting the suicidal policies of their governments in recent years. It didn’t slow down the plan. Despite being some of the most significant events in modern history, it never became a talking point in the media. The plight of farmers is swept under the rug constantly.
Yellowstone writ large: the long, silent, no-holds barred land grab
Have something to contribute to the world of news and ideas?
It now seems that the nonsensical “trade war” between Trump and Trudeau has nothing to do with drugs, national security, or “fairness,” and everything to do with destroying farmers on both sides in order to force them to sell to Blackrock, Bill Gates, or some other technocrat tool of the Deep State. In Manitoba, where I live, producers are already admitting defeat, saying that the tariffs will eat up all their profit and make them dependent on government handouts to survive:
In America, farmers who voted for Trump are scared because illegal workers are simply not showing up, for fear of being caught by ICE. And unlike manufacturing jobs, farms cannot simply shut down and then restart again. There is no Plan B. Farmers make whatever they can, and take whatever they can get in the market.
It was already a fear of Tennessee farmers back in 2011:
“If, theoretically, you did get rid of all the Mexicans, you’d be hungry in a week. All your vegetables had a Mexican hand on it. All your fruit, and three-quarters of your meat.” [emphasis mine]
The land will still be there when these farmers go out of business, and when they sell the land, corporations can take over. Food shortages mean higher prices, more imports, and creates an outcry of the government to save the people. This is good news for Trump and Trudeau, although Trump is playing the populist so he may have a harder time dealing with backlash.
Steve Bannon and other Trump advisors are wringing their hands with the illegal immigration issue because they know what’s at stake. That’s why Bannon has said he only cares about deporting criminals and the illegals who came in during the Biden administration. There needs to be some assurance of protection for those workers who are critical to the health of the American farm system.1
Government to the rescue
In Canada, our disgraced dictator, Castro Jr., has already promised to do everything it takes to keep businesses afloat when his own destructive trade war kills their companies and plunges us into a deep economic depression. This means printing money, bailing out business, and forcing them to depend on government money.
Our economists openly acknowledge that Trudeau is destroying Canada just to create the illusion of fighting back against Trump, but they won’t admit that the Liberal Party wants to destroy farmers and erase the middle class because they still have conservative voices. The Liberal Party would rather burn Canada to the ground than allow a conservative government to come in and fix the mess. That’s why he suspended Parliament, silenced all opposition, and taken the role of dictator long enough to provoke this “trade war”.
Of course, like all leftist idiots, Canadians secretly love tyranny. Just like during the pandemic lockdowns, the approval rating for the government goes up every time they take away our rights and act unilaterally to destroy our country. At this rate, with the predictable rise in theft, crime, and unrest among the poor, Trudeau will declare martial law just like his (supposed) daddy did.
Let me know if you have more to add to this angle.
It seems ridiculous that nobody can find a way for American citizens to do those jobs, but that’s a different topic.
That video of the farmer is not a recent video, so there’s no way that his workers didn’t show up bc of ICE agents in 2025. (it’s not summer and it is not currently sweet potato season anywhere in America).
Also, the 11 to 20 million people that walked across our border in the last four years, largely live in cities and are on government assistance.
Employers, like the farmer in the video, complain there are no workers. There are workers. They just don’t want to pay them a decent wage. They want slave labor.
And here in Tennessee, as you quoted, we fed ourselves just fine before mass immigration. (We grow mainly cotton, soybeans, wheat and corn. And I have NEVER in my life seen workers, American or Immigrant, out picking our crops. This is 2025. We have farm equipment for that.)
The mass removal of illegals has slowed down here in the US for various reasons. I predict we’ll still have plenty of workers for a long time. Millions came in recently. Canada needs to get rid of Trudeau and hopefully we’ll help you do that.
