That Apple ad is appalling. Notice the 2030 reference. And "don't disappoint your mother!" So blatant when you see what they're doing.

If we turn our back on God we walk into the arms of Evil. “If you are not for me you are against me” Jesus said. In that case it isn’t God who seeks retribution but Evil that pays back the evil these people have done by omission or commission. God who is wholly creative can only. “Pay Back” Good. Evil which is wholly destructive can only “Pay Back” evil. People have the choice which they receive. Always pay back evil with good another saying of Jesus.

The most urgent question really is, ‘for how much longer will God tolerate their iniquity?’. We know that in His permissive will, He is allowing these chastisements because we’ve turned our back on Him and we sorely deserve them. If we read Revelations we can get a pretty good idea of what still has to come - war, famines and so on. It’s an amazing time to be alive.

You think God is chastising believers?

He is chastising humanity at large and many believers will also be affected (and have been - take for example the Covid debacle). For believers, we understand that this is part of our purification. We have a purpose, a role to play in resisting and trying to fight (spiritually for the most part) but it’s not easy which is why Jesus tells us to pick up our cross. We must ‘finish the race’, keep the faith, and persevere until the end.

What do you say to the idea that world events are escalating according to pre-ordained necessity, as a type of quickening, or birth pains, which have nothing to do with any particular iniquity or chastising, but simply the preparation for the end? And that believers are meant to embrace their role as dissidents and revealers in this time of escalation?

I believe that everything is pre-ordained by God of course but I also believe that by prayer, sacrifice and receiving the sacraments, we can lessen the impact of some of the coming events too. I also don’t believe we are in the end times, we are in the end of ‘these times’ which will be followed by a period of Heaven on earth when Satan is chained for 1000 years (Rev. 20). After this, we will be in the end times.

My understanding of the current period comes from traditional Catholic doctrine, the doctors of the church (St. Aquinas, St. Augustine et al) and the many church approved apparitions of Our Lady such as Fatima.

Sorry Terry, do you really not know about the apparition of Our Lady in Fatima Portugal in 1917 and the miracle of the sun etc?

I’ll start taking these lunatics seriously when they leave their gated communities with their wine cellars and $300,000 hydro bills and go live in a dirt shack in Borneo. Otherwise they are just charlatans of the most despicable kind.

Hey Terry, I'm not disagreeing on the weather manipulation. My question is more about where you get your opinion. How have the world's governments achieved this ability to alter weather effectively? I am aware they have been at it since, I believe, WW2, and yes, I think we've continually fine-tuned our knowledge and ability. I was hoping to gain some background. Thank you.

You say, "As conservatives ... decide to abandon the “smart cities” and create their own alternatives in remote areas, Space Force will simply watch these communities and send weather disasters their way, destroying crops and making it uninhabitable."

1) You seem to be cutting God out of the equation here. The enemy can only go as far as God allows. If God bans Satan from attacking a particular community, Satan can do nothing.

2) You seem to be ignoring the concept of canned goods. There is no need to be growing any crops.

3) If a community is small, and is living in a cave/tunnel system (especially if located underneath some occupied property at the edge of some town or city), and if members only venture out at night, and if God has His hand on that community, then I'm struggling to see how Space Force need be a problem.

I haven't seen anyone suggesting that they want to live in tunnels and eat canned food for the rest of their life. As you will notice, my post was specifically about the utopian dream of off grid living, not the squalid nightmare of hiding in sewers or caves.

And as for God's will, that is even more to my point: we know that He has ordained the great tribulation that kills the church. Jesus tells us how we should not prepare in advance or try to defend ourselves from it, which means the survivalist mindset is not Christian

That’s well thought off. We have an emerging technocracy that is actually pushing Neo pagan ideology onto the Christians. Only those who have compromised with the Green agenda are spared.

Man straying from God and His Word becomes control freaks instead of stewards of His creation.
