I pray that this is a generic overview of the viewpoints of many, rather that a judgement call on an actual person. The author paints a good picture of many people, but I feel he fails to understand how misguided people are, and looks to them as unreachable, unchangeable, lost. Surely I am wrong, but characterizing people/said person as “NPC” kind of makes it seem like they fit the above category. Kind of makes me think this article was written out of exasperation for someone currently unwilling to “see the light” of things, not because the author is uncaring himself, for his fruits in other areas have helped many people. Overall - leave the softening of hearts to God ultimately, because you can talk until you are blue in the face, yet some will remain blinded until their due time. Don’t lose hope, God has a plan for all of us. May He bless your thoughts and endeavors.

This piece is based on a real conversation, but my description of the person is meant to be blended together with several people. I appreciate the concern for the message, I was trying to be humorous with calling that kind of person an NPCs, but that's not as condemning as it may sound. I certainly don't think they are beyond hope, we're all basically NPCs until God changes us and opens our eyes.
