The Happy Collapse™
How today's false promises are fueling the very destruction they pretend to be avoiding
A new US administration means a new way of gutting and auctioning off America. In the case of Trump 2.0, that means labeling everything he does “populist nationalist” and pretending we’re entering a “Golden Age”, even while smashing the pillars of the nation with a sledgehammer daily. I mean, he is quite literally demolishing the White House while the federal government is shut down, which is more than a little symbolic, I’d say.
Trump proved his worth during the COVID psyop, obliterating small businesses (labeled “non-essential”) and printing trillions of dollars to bail out the failing Fortune 500 companies that had been clinging to relevance. Since then, the Big Pivot has happened, funneling all of the world’s resources into what seems to be the final project to collapse the old American economy: the lie of Artificial Intelligence.
Everything that’s happening is now a double-lie. Not only are the announcements and claims of the government false, but they hide another reality; the active devaluation of the US dollar, while building up the Mother of All Bubbles. To accomplish this, government-beholden billionaires are being blackmailed to crowdfund the speedrun of America’s collapse with hooplah, fake announcements, and bullshit, and Donald Trump is their Fundraiser-in-Chief.
At first, all of this fell on the shoulders of Elon Musk, who was expected to invade every department of the federal government and systematically slash-and-burn its key personnel and programs, like an asset-stripping corporate raider. But he hogged the spotlight while abusing ketamine a little too blatantly, and so he had to go. Then Israel attacked Iran, Iran blew up Tel Aviv, and everybody began demanding to finally see the Epstein Files—which, as I have previously said, only increases the effectiveness of the blackmail against the elites:
Unsurprisingly, the Epstein Files were not released. But instead, like magic(!), many delightful announcements supporting Donald Trump’s suicidal plans popped up, and key figures who could have stopped him simply stood by.
In fact, all of Trump’s populist-nationalist policies are an Orwellian inverse of what they claim to be:
“Restoring law” has translated into illegal domestic deployment of the military;
“Stimulating economic growth” has translated into crippling trade wars that serve no purpose except to devastate small business owners and farmers;
“Protecting jobs” has translated into trillions of dollars in taxpayer-funded handouts for billionaires, who are creating worker-replacement systems;
“Boosting energy production” and “protecting nature” has translated into breakneck speed construction of energy-and-water-guzzling data centers that cripple electric grids, skyrocket electricity prices, and suck up all the water;
“Ending the wars” has translated into increased death tolls in Ukraine-Russia and Middle East chaos, with more unchecked violence than ever;
“Full transparency” has translated into full protection of high-level criminals, with counter-attacks against anyone seeking answers about anything.
And the list goes on.
Existential adoption paradox
In order for the fabled Golden Age to become reality, everybody has to believe in it.
I’m not talking about some New Age concept of manifestation and frequencies this time, but the existential adoption paradox of experimental technology that needs to harvest data on billions of real-world interactions in order to train AI.
If you’ve never seen this very old TED Talk on tricking online users into doing free labor for corporations (in addition to promoting the creation of language-learning app Duolingo), I suggest you watch it now:
It’s an old gimmick by now. Scraping language from web pages, spying on your Zoom meetings to learn special lingo in context, mapping urban foot traffic using Pokemon Go, and other unethical tricks have been used to kick-start AI for decades. But now the money and pressure is on to kick it up to a new level. In order to get millions of users to adopt the broken, messy AI products and begin training it to improve for free (or actually, paying for the privilege!), the Narrative Investment Complex has to frame this as the key to all future happiness, the ultimate life hack, the gateway to unlimited profit and efficiency, etc. If the adoption rate stays low for any reason, the whole race for AI domination will implode.
And I think that’s what the Collapse Group (my term for the military intelligence Deep State that manipulates modern politics) is counting on. I don’t think there’s even supposed to be a Golden Age. I don’t think AI is supposed to outpace humanity. I think it’s all a ruse to put the world’s eggs into the same fragile basket, and then stomp on it.
Golden Mushroom Cloud
The Happy Collapse™ is the destruction of Western civilization wrapped up in a bold, exciting new adventure to re-think the future and dare to take existential risks. Over and over, we’re hearing billionaires and think tank weirdos try to pacify investors by promising that the only real risk today is not jeopardizing the world’s GDP with experimental technology. These billionaires and weirdos are, presumably, blackmailed pedophiles who have been notified that the Department of Justice is prepared to release names any day now, if the President gives the order.
This is why you see such Happy Announcements™ as:
Bill Gates Flip-Flops™ his position on Climate Change!
Trillions of dollars are being Invested™ in America!
Robots™ are going to be the most popular product ever!
Yes, Elon Musk once again can’t help but tip his hand by using so much hyperbole. Robots are currently not robots at all, but remote-controlled puppets being awkwardly steered around by humans:
Anyone claiming that their robots are performing dynamic interactions in the real world autonomously are lying. These things will be outsourced to poor East Indians, just like the fake Amazon “just walk out” AI store.
How bad is it? We now have the “Magnificent Seven” businesses in America with an aggregate market capital of 60% of America’s GDP. This is Alphabet (Google), Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla. They are each carrying about 10% of the weight of all growth happening in the USA. Look at each one and ask yourself what they’ve done lately, aside from buy other companies. Most of them are provoking consumer hatred of their main monopolistic products/services, while their many other divisions are struggling to survive. Apple hasn’t done anything interesting in a decade; Tesla is a never-ending farce, with customer regret through the roof and self-driving still dangerously incomplete; Meta and its subsidiaries are all completely irrelevant; Microsoft has just recently made Windows nearly unusable, and is killing Xbox at the same time; Google Search is a broken mess; and Nvidia, while still staying strong in their graphics card business, is doing backflips on a tightrope to trick investors into thinking they can live up to the hype around AI.
Artificial Intelligence seems to be the noose that will hang the American economy. They needed to find a worthy scapegoat, and now they have it.

I appreciate your honesty, watching our nation being gutted by this administration is bizarre. It’s the end and destruction of a nation in true American style, the 1% feeding off the masses for even larger profits.
Nice summary. Glad you are noticing. Not glad to see it all happening, but something good does follow.
